Dato’ Charon Wardini joined MIDF as its Group Managing Director in July 2018.
Prior to MIDF, he was the Founder Managing Director of the Khazanah Research Institute as well as an Executive Director of Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
A former investment banker and corporate lawyer, he was the Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Corporate and Investment Banking, CIMB Group and the Managing Partner of Zaid Ibrahim & Co. before that.
Dato’ Charon read Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Balliol College, University of Oxford and Law at the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London. He is a Chartered Banker and a Fellow of the Asian Institute of Chartered Bankers, and a non-practising barrister of the Middle Temple and advocate and solicitor of the High Court of Malaya.
