Sridharan Nair (or Sri as he is commonly known) is the Vice Chairman, Markets for PwC in Asia Pacific, and chairs the Asia Pacific Executive Team. He is responsible for developing and executing PwC’s strategy and support for its regional clients, and for amplifying the firm’s brand and presence in the region, working with PwC leadership teams across 12 countries in Asia Pacific.
Sri is also a member of PwC’s Global Inclusion and Diversity Council, that sets the strategy and direction for the firm in this important business objective, representing the Asia Pacific region.
Sri previously served as the Territory Senior Partner (TSP) of PwC Malaysia for 8 years until 2020, and of the combined Malaysia-Vietnam firm from 2015 to 2020. He was also the Chairman of the Board of PwC’s South East Asia Consulting (SEAC) practice.
Sri is an alumnus of Universiti Malaya and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the UK. He has 35 years’ experience in audit and business advisory services, having worked with a wide range of clients across various industry sectors in Malaysia. He has also served as a member of the Financial Reporting Foundation of Malaysia, an appointment by the Ministry of Finance, since 2019.
